Google updates shouldn’t be surprising to all that work within online marketing. They’re always going to happen and we just need to stay on our toes when it does happens. This time Google is releasing Payday Loan Algorithm 2.0; said to target “very spamming queries.”
A Google spokesperson said:
“Over the weekend we began rolling out a new algorithmic update. The update was neither Panda nor Penguin – it was the next generation of an algorithm that originally rolled out last summer for very spammy queries.”
It has been almost a whole year since their release of the Payday Loan. When it was first released, Google’s head of search spam Matt Cutts said roughly 0.3% of the U.S. queries were affected, but went as high as 4% for Turkish queries affect where Web spam was high.
Looks like Google is finally ready to fighter online spams. Though not much details about this algorithm was release, we are hoping to have a better answer soon.
